This kitchen boasts restored original maple floors, custom white shaker cabinets, a new island with turned oak posts, granite countertops, and a classic herringbone backsplash. To open the space up, a cased doorway was doubled in size, a portion of the ceiling was raised, and new French doors were installed. The oak-wrapped beam and the restored brick chimney helped us keep some of the 1912 charm.
